Executive Speaker Series will feature Ray Farmer discussing the Affordable Care Act and its impact on South Carolina
COLUMBIA, SC – iTs|SC, Columbia’s Insurance Technology & Services Cluster, will be hosting its quarterly executive speaker series Wednesday, June 25 from 4:00-6:00pm at IT-oLogy.
The June series will feature Director Ray Farmer from the South Carolina Department of Insurance. Director Farmer will discuss the details around the recent technology updates at the SC Department of Insurance, as well the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and its impact on the state of South Carolina.
From insurance carriers and members, to employers and technology providers, iTs|SC hopes to attract a variety of people and organizations impacted by the insurance trends at both the state and federal level, including the ACA. Attendees will get a firsthand look at the latest updates on the South Carolina insurance market, as well as a Q&A opportunity with Director Farmer.
