Jack Griffeth Named as Partner-in-Charge for Collins & Lacy Greenville office

GREENVILLE, SC – Collins & Lacy, P.C. is strategically positioning the law firm for growth and success by appointing Partners-in-Charge for its statewide offices. Shareholder Jack Griffeth has been named Partner-in-Charge for the business defense firm’s Upstate office. Bennett Crites will serve the role in Charleston, and Will Bryan will lead the Myrtle Beach office. The announcement is part of the law firm’s long-term strategy to successfully exemplify its people-first philosophy and protect the thriving businesses of South Carolina.

Jack Griffeth has spent his life and career in Greenville and centers his law practice on defense trial work, representing employers in employment-related litigation and mediation. As a certified circuit court mediator by the South Carolina Bar, Griffeth has built an extensive mediation practice over the years where he conducts civil court mediations on a wide variety of cases including torts, contracts, and employment.

Citadel alumnus and Charleston native Bennett Crites is a shareholder practicing in products liability, premises liability, automobile negligence, defamation, insurance bad faith, and professional liability. Crites also practices in transportation and trucking law where he is experienced in litigating cases from minor injury to wrongful death and catastrophic injury.

Born and raised on the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach’s Will Bryan is a shareholder and chair of the firm’s Transportation & Trucking practice group.  He represents national and regional motor carriers, passenger bus companies, and their drivers in suits ranging from minor accidents and cargo claims to high-exposure, catastrophic injury claims often involving brain injury, paralysis, burns, and wrongful death.
