JDPR welcomes three new interns to highly competitive EMAP Internship
December 3, 2025Three aspiring communication professionals join the agency for the Fall 2025 semester
Industry-leading strategic marketing and communication agency, JDPR, announces the addition of three new interns for its Fall 2025 Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP). Sam Godfrey, Kaitlyn Turnell and Kylie Tutterrow join JDPR’s team to work alongside talented mentors and senior agency leaders as they support a variety of clients in the healthcare, golf, telecommunications, finance and lifestyle industries.
This cohort of interns will spend the next semester developing as PR and communication-strategy professionals and leaders by gaining industry experience, professional skills and building client relationships.
“After decades of the EMAP internship, it is still a point of pride for JDPR to offer such a competitive and worthwhile program,” said agency director, Drew Dezen. “We are eager to see all that our interns will accomplish during their time at JDPR this fall, and we are confident that the skills they develop here will serve them well as they continue to grow as professionals in the industry.”
Godfrey, a senior at Anderson University, and a public relations major and marketing minor, joins JDPR with a multitude of experiences ranging from project management, social media, content creation and more. Before joining JDPR, he honed his skills in several roles, including as a freelance designer and media manager for small businesses and non-profits. Sam’s ability to support JDPR’s golf and lifestyle clients is already adding value to the team.
Tutterrow is a senior at Clemson University, where she is earning her Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication, and is currently serving as the associate editor of The Tiger, the Clemson University student newspaper. Her robust background in public relations and communication, having worked for C-SPAN, the City of Greenville and Ronald McDonald House, allows her to thrive in this role. Her diverse and refined skill set enables her to effectively support JDPR’s technology, outdoor power equipment and lifestyle clients.
Turnell received her degree from Clemson University in May, where she studied economics with a minor in communication and art. With a background primarily in social media management, editing and graphics, Kaitlyn is refining her skills in public relations and PR writing during her time at JDPR. As an EMAP intern, Kaitlyn is supporting JDPR’s lifestyle, golf and healthcare clients.
JDPR is now accepting EMAP applications for Spring 2026. Interested college students or recent graduates in the fields of communication, marketing or related studies should send their resume and cover letter to Isabel Matos at [email protected] or apply at JDPR.com.
