JerryFest 2025 announces commemorative poster contest

The Five Points Association announced a Commemorative Poster Contest for the 2025 JerryFest, Columbia’s free outdoor concert celebrating the life and legacy of Jerry Garcia and the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead.

Artists of all backgrounds are invited to submit original designs that capture the music, creativity, and community spirit of both JerryFest and the Grateful Dead’s six-decade legacy. The winning design will be selected by the JerryFest Event Committee and featured as the commemorative poster for this year’s festival.

A limited release of posters will be available for purchase during JerryFest on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the heart of Five Points.

“JerryFest is all about honoring music, creativity, and community,” said Heather McDonald, Executive Director. “With this year marking the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, we’re excited to see how our local  artists bring that milestone to life through their designs.”

JerryFest is presented by the Five Points Association and will feature live music on multiple stages, food, drinks, artisan retail vendors, and fun for all ages.

JerryFest was started to commemorate the life and art of Jerry Garcia.
