Jiffy Lube Teams Up With Harvest Hope To Feed Struggling Families

COLUMBIA, SC – Harvest Hope Food Bank teams up with Jiffy Lube during February to gather food for struggling families at seven Jiffy Lube service locations. Jiffy Lube is offering a $10 discount off of their Signature Service Oil Change for donations of at least two canned goods at specified Columbia locations from February 1 through February 28.
Under new ownership as of August 2013, these locations have been focused on delivering a much improved customer experience to the community. As part of this improvement, the new ownership believes strongly in giving back to local organizations that also have a positive impact on the community.
According to Leigh Anne Patterson, COO for the local Jiffy Lube owner (CISA Lubes): “Harvest Hope provides support to the community in so many ways and reaches so many individuals and families, that we feel donating to this organization is a very effective and impactful way to help those in need .”
“In December Harvest Hope’s Emergency Food Pantries provided direct hunger to relief to almost 10,000 families right at our own doorsteps, and more than 73,000 families through all of our programs in the 20 South Carolina counties we serve,” said Harvest Hope CEO Denise Holland. “We know we will have to help just as many if not more families in February, and Jiffy Lube’s partnership will help gather the food we need to provide for empty tables in our South Carolina communities. We are so grateful for their dedication to helping our mission and it shows Jiffy Lube’s commitment to giving back to the community.”
