The Digital Transformation Application Developer and Team Lead is responsible for discovering, designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise business workflows and multi-platform solutions. Leads a team of IT Student Developers by providing professional and technical mentoring, guidance, and instruction. Engages with all departments across USC Upstate to convert legacy solutions into modern, innovative systems.
• Design and develop M365 solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint Online, JavaScript, HTML, and the SPFx environment.
• Provide maintenance and support for native and custom SharePoint Online development.
• Perform project management functions in collaboration with other technologists to create needed university solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the university to enhance administrative and academic automated workflows.
• Hire, train, lead, and provide feedback/coach IT Student Developers. Develop a professional and inclusive team that is workforce-ready.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in Power Automate (workflow and robotic process automation) and SharePoint Online development. Successful background check is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SharePoint Framework Extension development (SPFx), JavaScript, Microsoft Power Platform, M365 and Power Platform Administrator, HTML, CSS, JSON, TypeScript, and Robotic Process Automation.

Salary: $49,396 – $64,885; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
