Hospice of Laurens County was the first hospice to open in Laurens County and has continued to be a leader in hospice care in the community for almost 30 years. A not-for-profit organization, Hospice of Laurens County not only cares for the patient but also their family and loved ones.
Position Summary: Responsible for providing nursing services and education within the scope of practice as set forth by the South Carolina Board of Nursing to individuals and their families in homes or long term care facilities; Coordinates plan of care by working with interdisciplinary team to anticipate and meet patient needs; Serves as the RN member of interdisciplinary team to meet specific plan of care goals; Coordinates closely with related disciplines to ensure professional service delivery; May be asked to provide oversight to NAs, LPNs, volunteers, etc.
