Job Liaison

The Job Liaison is the lead, full-time staff member responsible for implementing and advancing the Barbara Stone Foundation’s UP Employment Initiative—a holistic employment support model that empowers individuals with disabilities toward meaningful employment, community engagement, and self- defined independence. This role combines individualized participant support, employer engagement, program facilitation, and initiative development. The Job Liaison works closely with individuals with disabilities, their support networks, and employers across Greenville and the Upstate to advance inclusive employment practices. The ideal candidate is deeply committed to disability inclusion, energized by relationship-driven work, and fulfilled by supporting others as they grow in confidence, skills, and independence.

Qualifications:
• Alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Barbara Stone Foundation
• Bachelor’s degree required (relevant lived or professional experience considered)
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities strongly preferred
• Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage sustained, relational work
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining consistency and follow-through
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
