Landscaping Technician I

Under frequent supervision, performs unskilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of City streets/sidewalks, residential refuse collection, and man-made and cellulosic refuse collections. General duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, removing brush, and fallen trees, patching streets, working around roadways and parking lots, and other related duties as required. Experience preferred but not required.

Requirements include, but are not limited to: (1) Position requires a valid SC Drivers’ License and a good driving record. (2) Position requires, but is not limited to, extensive and frequent strenuous physical labor, walking, stooping, bending, and frequently lifting weights to 50 lbs. (3) Work is predominately outside in various ways climatological conditions year-round.
