John Tripoli Receives National Recognition with the Northwestern Mutual Community Service Award

GREENVILLE, SC – John Tripoli received national recognition for his outstanding service and volunteerism at the Center for Developmental Services (CDS). Tripoli was awarded the national Northwestern Mutual Community Service Award at a reception in his honor. Tripoli is the Managing Director of the Northwestern Mutual Greenville Office, and serves as chair of the Governance Committee on the CDS Board of Directors.

Along with the award, Tripoli designated CDS as the recipient of a $15,000 Northwestern Mutual Foundation gift. Accepting the gift was Dana McConnell, CDS Executive Director, and Joy Blue, Director of Community and Donor Relations.

Several community leaders were present, including Danielle Gibbs from US Senator Tim Scott’s office and Ted Hendry, President of the Greenville County United Way. In making the announcement, Hendry stated “We are grateful to have Northwestern Mutual as a community partner and are inspired by John as a model leader in creating a culture of volunteerism.”
