Junior League of Greenville names 2017-2018 Board of Directors

The Junior League of Greenville (JLG) named the 2017-2018 Board of Directors during its January General Membership Meeting. The group is led by incoming president Courtney Atkinson and she will succeed Sandy Brown. The 2017-2018 Board of Directors’ term will begin June 1, 2017 and last until May 31, 2018.

  • Heather Hooks, finance vice president
  • Cameron King, fund development vice president
  • Jane Hall, membership vice president
  • Marclee McDaniel, corresponding secretary
  • Melissa Stroud, recording secretary
  • René Morrow, strategic planner
  • Leslie Latimer, parliamentarian
  • Caroline Stewart, sustainer representative
  • Tina Hampton, director of administration

“The incoming Board of Directors brings a tremendous amount of expertise and enthusiasm to the Junior League of Greenville,” said Sandy Brown, current JLG president. “We are excited to continue our work of serving the Greenville community and developing women to their fullest potential under this new leadership.”

The Junior League of Greenville is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of 12 women. It is under their leadership that the League operates and fulfills its mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
