Junior League of Greenville raises $15,000 with inaugural Shop for Greenville fundraiser
May 7, 2018The Junior League of Greenville (JLG) rece
ntly held its inaugural Shop for Greenville fundraiser, a 10-day discount shopping event in March featuring local businesses. Partnering with 78 participating retailers and 13 selling locations, the JLG sold 325 Shop for Greenville discount cards to raise more than $15,000. All of the proceeds will go to supporting the JLG’s programs and partnering community agencies who work to improve the lives of women and children.
Shoppers who purchased a Shop for Greenville discount card and guide book enjoyed access to great deals at local Greenville businesses during the event, which was held March 9-18, 2018. Some of the participating businesses included Hale’s Jewelers, Skatell’s Jewelers, Lamps Etcetera, Pink Bee West End, Clemson Eye, the JLG’s Nearly New Shop, Rainbow International, Pour Taproom, and many more.
