June 23, 2021Just Say Something (JSS) has been awarded a $500 Helping Hands grant from The Allstate Foundation to support the youth substance use prevention, life skills / sports; parenting; and other programs provided to residents in the community. This grant was awarded in recognition of Just Say Something Board President and Allstate Employee & Volunteer, Christine Butterfield, a dedicated Just Say Something board member, supporter, and volunteer.
The Allstate Foundation supports the causes that Allstate agency owners, financial specialists, and employees care about
most by providing Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grants to nonprofits where they volunteer their time to help
communities thrive.
“We are so grateful to The Allstate Foundation and to Just Say Something Board President, Christine Butterfield,” said
Carol Reeves, Executive Director of Just Say Something. “In this time of COVID, this grant is heaven sent. It will help
us continue to encourage youth and their parents to have open, honest, ongoing conversations and to create family
policies in relation to youth substance use prevention and other risky behaviors.”
