Just Say Something kicks off October with their 4th annual Sunrise Red Ribbon 5k Run

It is that time of the year again! Just Say Something is starting off the month of October with our 4th annual Sunrise Red Ribbon 5k. This Friday, September 18th is the last day to receive a FREE t-shirt with your registration!
Join your fellow runners on Saturday, October 3, 2020 for the Sunrise Red Ribbon 5K at Sugar Creek.
If you can’t make the race, consider participating in our Virtual 5K! You can run whenever you choose and submit your time to the race site.
If you would also like to participate in the March of Dimes Big Punkin 5K (Certified Virtual Race) which takes place on your choice of 7 dates in October, check out our Red Ribbon Run Fest bundle. You’ll get 2 great races at a special discounted price!
The 5K will begin at 7:30AM at Sugar Creek Club House #3, located at 119 Stonecrest Road, Greer, SC 29650. No parking will be allowed at the Sugar Creek Club House #3. Participants must park at Airport Baptist Church at 776 South Batesville Rd. No parking is allowed on Devenger Road.
All proceeds will be used to help youth, parents and the community have open, honest & ongoing conversations about substance use and abuse.

Safety is our top priority for our participants, donors, and staff. Based on COVID-19 Outbreak Prevention guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, start times will be staggered in 15-second intervals with 5 runners starting at each interval. Masks and social distancing will be required before and after the 5K, but masks may be removed during the run. Water stations will provide bottled water.

Registration and Fees
The registration fee is $20 for individuals age 18 and under; $25 for individuals age 19 and above.
Individuals who register by Friday, September 18, 2020 will receive a FREE race t-shirt. Onsite registration is $30 for all ages.
If you can’t make the race, you can still support us by registering for our virtual 5K and run on your own time!
