Karen Owens Promoted to Vice President

December 15, 2007

COLUMBIA, SC – December 7, 2007 – The Clare Morris Agency promoted Karen Owens to Vice President for Business Development.

In the brief seven months that Karen has been with the CMA she has brought in several marquee clients including, the Silver Crescent Foundation, Alliance Pickens, and Innoventure.

At a lunch with her colleagues to celebrate Karen’s birthday today, she was surprised by her promotion. The CMA team had wrapped in birthday paper business cards with her new job title and presented them to her.

“This is the right decision,” said Tony Smith, President, Silver Crescent Foundation.

“Karen is very focused and organized. What I like about working with her is that she says what she’s going to do and then she does it.”

Karen’s energy and reputation surpasses today’s professional standards by a long shot. She is very deserving of this recognition, said Jody Bryson, Executive Director of South Carolina’s Donaldson Center.

“We are very excited to have Karen with us and can’t wait to see what great things she’ll do next,” said Clare Morris.
