Kay Halsey has joined the Kiawah Island Real Estate (KIRE) team, bringing with her more than three decades of real estate experience and a host of awards from accomplishments throughout her career.

A native of Florida, Halsey was first introduced to Kiawah while vacationing on the island. With a real estate background, she sought a job with Kiawah Island Real Estate, where she ended up working for over 20 years. After a brief departure, Halsey has rejoined the team.

“For the past few years, I broadened my industry experience, but missed the support and camaraderie of the KIRE team,” said Halsey. “As a returning Kiawah Realtor, I feel I have a unique understanding of the market competition and how working with KIRE benefits clients.”

Within one week of her arrival, Halsey sold her first property on Piping Plover Lane. Previously, this listing sat on the market for almost a year while it was listed with another company.

“Kay demonstrates the qualities we look for in our sales executives and we welcome her back,” said Chris Drury, president of KIRE. “KIRE sells Kiawah Island properties more quickly, and for a higher price, than anyone else. With this fast sale, Kay has demonstrated why KIRE is the market leader.”

Halsey is also deeply rooted in the Kiawah and Lowcountry community. Volunteering with many local organizations, including Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic, Dining for Women and various local schools.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to, once again, work with such a talented group of agents,” said Halsey. “It’s so rewarding to help folks find their ideal home on Kiawah Island!”
