Keep Laurens County Beautiful and Volunteers Tackle Trash Around Boyd’s Mill Pond Dam

Keep Laurens County Beautiful, led by Beautification Affiliate Coordinator, Courtney Stonell orgainzed another litter clean up on Saturday.
The energetic group of volunteers worked to clean up the area around Boyd’s Mill Pond Dam. Many hands make light work and by the end of the the group of volunteers had collected over  150 bags of trash, three tires, and a bowling ball.
“Legion Post 25 is very active in the community and it was our pleasure to work with Keep Laurens County Beautiful to pick up litter,” said Kevin Farnsworth, Vice Commander, American Legion Post 25.
