Keep Laurens County Beautiful Seeks Site Leaders for Community Cleanups
September 3, 2025Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB) is calling on local residents to step up and make a difference by becoming Cleanup Site Leaders. These volunteers will play a key role in guiding Saturday morning cleanup events across Laurens County throughout the year.
As a Site Leader, participants will help organize and motivate volunteers, lead a quick safety briefing, manage supplies such as gloves and trash bags, and ensure that cleanup efforts run smoothly. No prior experience is necessary—KLCB provides all the training and support needed.
Courtney Stonell, Keep Laurens County Beautiful Affiliate Coordinator, said, “Becoming a Site Leader is an incredible way to make a direct impact on your community. Not only will you help keep our county clean and beautiful, but you’ll also inspire others to join in and take pride in where we live. We provide everything you need to succeed—all you need is the willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead.”
Site Leaders are asked to commit to just a few Saturdays a year, with each event lasting about two hours. Cleanup locations vary, allowing volunteers to make a difference in communities all across Laurens County.
Anyone interested in becoming a Site Leader can contact Keep Laurens County Beautiful to get started. Together, residents can continue building a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful Laurens County.
