Keep the Midlands Beautiful, Midlands hires new Grants and Program Developer

Keep the Midlands Beautiful, Midlands, South Carolina, announces the addition of Alexandra DeRidder as Grants and Program Developer. Ms. DeRidder’s role is responsible for looking for grants and supporting the development of programs with funding and support, helping solidify current programs and the expansion of the mission of this non-profit.

“We are excited to welcome Ali to Keep the Midlands Beautiful,” said Jacq Buck, Executive Director “we are excited to bring Ali’s talents and enthusiasm to our team and know she will be an asset to our community and only help grow the projects we have planned for our beautiful community.”

Ms. DeRidder graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology. Ms. DeRidder also worked extensively on the Lower Saluda Greenway Project.

Established in 1989 to serve Richland and Lexington Counties, the mission of Keep the Midlands Beautiful is to engage, inspire and educate the Midlands to invest in our community through litter prevention, recycling and beautification. Each year, thousands of Midlands residents volunteer to support this mission, including almost 375 groups regularly removing litter on area roads and waterways, schools and businesses coming together to implement recycling programs, and communities pursuing beautification projects.
