KEMET Announces New Chief Talent Development Officer

GREENVILLE, SC – May 17, 2011 – KEMET Corporation (NYSE: KEM), a leading manufacturerof tantalum, ceramic, aluminum, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors, announced that Richard M. Vosburgh,Ph.D. has joined the company in the newly created role of VicePresident, Talent and Organizational Effectiveness and Chief TalentDevelopment Officer, reporting to Larry C. McAdams, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
As KEMET continues to expand its global footprint, we must alsocontinue to grow and expand our talent management activities. Richardwill be responsible for developing KEMET’s talent strategy and will leadand coordinate all organizational activities that are focused on TalentManagement, said Per Loof, Chief Executive Officer of KEMET. Inrecognition of this important new role, Richard has been named to theLeadership Team and will work closely with all Leadership Team membersin planning new talent strategies for One KEMET.
As a seasoned professional in Human Resources generalist andorganizational development activities, Vosburgh is well qualified forthe position. His most recent assignment was Senior Vice President atMGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, Nevada.Prior to MGM he worked at Pepsico, The Gallup Organization and CampbellSoup Company. He has also had significant global expatriate assignmentswith HP in Singapore and Volkswagen in Germany.Vosburgh received his B.A. degree in Experimental Psychology from NewCollege and both his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial andOrganizational Psychology from the University of South Florida.
