State-of-the-art facility brings year-round play, professional instruction, and advanced simulator technology to Greenville

Judson Mill District announced the addition of Kenny’s Golf Club, a new indoor golf facility founded by Greenville resident Beau Blackshear. Opening this fall, the venue brings advanced simulator technology, professional instruction, and year-round play to golfers across the Upstate.

The more than 6,800-square-foot facility will debut with six simulator bays with plans to expand to nine. Each bay is equipped with industry-leading launch monitors and high-speed cameras that capture every element of ball flight and club movement. This technology, now widely used by players and coaches, has redefined how golfers train and experience the game.

“Kenny’s Golf Club is designed to be more than a practice facility—it’s a place where the game and its community come together,” said Beau Blackshear, owner of Kenny’s Golf Club. “When my wife and I relocated to Greenville, we were immediately drawn to the history and energy of Judson Mill. It’s the perfect backdrop for bringing a modern golf experience to a city with such a strong passion for the game. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where players of all levels can improve, connect, and enjoy the sport year-round.”

In addition to simulator rentals, Kenny’s Golf Club will provide lessons with local PGA professional Zach Bumgarner and host private events for groups and corporate outings.

Kenny’s Golf Club joins a dynamic mix of tenants at Judson Mill District, which includes restaurants, offices, climbing, fitness concepts, and retail. The announcement comes as the community prepares to welcome The Jenny and The Westervelt, Judson Mill’s newest residential loft apartments opening this September.

“Kenny’s Golf Club represents the kind of forward-thinking concept we want to foster at Judson Mill District,” said Ken Reiter, co-developer of Judson Mill District and president of Belmont Sayre. “It blends innovation with community while honoring the campus’s history as a place where people come together. From recreation and dining to entertainment and living, Judson Mill continues to evolve as a destination where people gather to experience Greenville.”

Bay rentals will range $30–$60 per hour, with memberships and package options available. Kenny’s Golf Club is expected to open to the public this fall. For more information and updates, visit www.kennysgolfclub.com or follow @kennysgolfclub on Instagram.

About Judson Mill District

Judson Mill District is a sustainable and vibrant mixed-use community offering soulful city living in Greenville, SC. Once the largest textile mill in Greenville County and an integral part of Greenville’s Mill Crescent wrapping the city’s west side, Judson Mill District is now home to office, restaurant, brewery, retail, entertainment, and residential spaces. In 2019, Taft Family Ventures, a distinguished real estate investment and development firm based in Greenville, NC, joined with Belmont Sayre, a privately held real estate investment and development company based in Chapel Hill, NC, to transform the historic 800,000-square-foot textile mill that closed in 2015. While maintaining its vision to preserve the soul, spirit, and features of the historic mill, Judson Mill District utilizes a sustainable approach in revitalizing its 36-acre campus, which now fosters a vibrant and affordable community where people live, work, and play. For more information on Judson Mill District, visit https://judsonmilldistrict.com.
