Kids Teeth expands team with the addition of Dr. Frances Gouldin as new Associate Pediatric Dentist

Kids Teeth, a locally owned and operated dental practice for children in a welcoming environment, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Associate Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Frances Gouldin, to its team. Dr. Frances will join Dr. Will MacDonald, Dr. Mike Myers, and the Kids Teeth team starting next month.

Dr. Frances is completing her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Her arrival at Kids Teeth is eagerly anticipated, as she has high regard from her peers and colleagues both within and outside the field of dentistry.

“She has a history of compassion for others not only in our community but through several local and international dental organizations,” said Dr. Mike. “Her compassionate and caring nature extends far beyond dental care. This quality can’t be quickly learned or emulated, and we look forward to introducing her to our patients.”

Dr. Frances is a Charleston native who returned home in 2019 after spending eight years in Virginia for her undergraduate and dental education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Distinction from the University of Virginia, attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and will soon complete a Pediatric Dental Residency at the MUSC College of Dental Medicine.

In addition to her impressive academic background, Dr. Frances is actively involved in the community. She serves in the children’s ministry at her church, volunteers with the North Charleston Dental Outreach program, and has participated in dental mission trips to Jamaica with the Christian Dental Society.

“One of my favorite things about pediatric dentistry is building relationships with families and helping patients and parents feel at ease in the dental setting,” said Dr. Frances. “It is a privilege to care for children, and I am excited to have the opportunity to do so at Kids Teeth!”
