CHARLESTON, SC – State Senator Marlon Kimpson (D), announces Michelle Mapp as this year’s recipient of the Marjorie Amos-Frazier Pacesetter Award.  Kimpson, chair of the selection committee, will present the award to Mapp at a special ceremony, 4:30 p.m., Thursday, December 15, at Charleston County Council chambers, 4045 Bridge View Drive, North Charleston.  Mapp is CEO of the South Carolina Community Loan Fund [SCCLF].  The ceremony, open to the public, will precede the 5 p.m. start of Council’s regular meeting.
