King Charles Inn continues pop-up series with five local purveyors

Featuring Charleston Tea Plantation, Jack Rudy Cocktail Company and more

King Charles Inn, a boutique hotel pairing English heritage with Southern hospitality, announced the continuation of its pop-up series through February 2018. Returning on Oct. 20th, each shop will be open to the public and highlight local favorites Charleston Tea Plantation, Jack Rudy Cocktail Company, Charleston Shucker Company, Lowcountry Olive Oil and The Charleston Soap Chef.

“Thanks to growing demand, we’re delighted to bring the pop-up series back for guests and visitors to experience each month,” said Maureen Sheridan, General Manager at King Charles Inn. “From nationally acclaimed bar products to premium oyster knives, each product is unique to the Lowcountry and makes for a perfect gift or personal buy.”

Pop-up shops scheduled to appear are as follows:

October 20, 4-6 p.m.
Charleston Tea Plantation, America’s largest tea garden purchased by the family-owned Bigelow Tea Company, together, offers over 120 teas to choose from. With 70 years to perfect their tea recipe, the Bigelow Tea Company presents various options of rich flavored black tea, fresh green tea or caffeine-free herb teas.

November 17 & December 15, 4-6 p.m.
Jack Rudy Cocktail Company, a family-run company specializing in reinventing American bar products including small batches of tonic and grenadine.

December 1, 4-6 p.m.
Charleston Shucker Company, a shop specializing in premium personalized oyster & fish fillet knives.

January 19, 4-6 p.m.
Lowcountry Olive Oil, a locally owned source for imported extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars from around the world.

February 16, 4-6 p.m.
The Charleston Soap Chef, delicious bath and body products made in Charleston.

During each pop-up, guests and visitors are encouraged to stop by Happy Hour at BREW, King Charles Inn’s pub featuring specialty British-inspired cocktails, $5 house wine and $5 local draft beer from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
