Lake Murray Elementary ‘LEAP’s to aid others

Lake Murray Elementary faculty and staff practiced their 2017–2018 theme of “Love Can Change the World” by donating to the Lexington One Educational Foundation LEAP program. Demonstrating love and leadership, faculty and staff recorded a third year of 100 percent participation.
In total, LMES faculty and staff donated $3,729.
LEAP, the Lexington Employee/Education Assistance Plan, benefits the district’s employees, students and their family members in times of crisis. LMES employees’ donations will support LEAP’s Employee Crisis Fund and We Care Fund.
Donations will also benefit the Education Assistance Plan, which supports Lexington County School District One educational programs and initiatives.
The Lexington One Educational Foundation collects LEAP contributions during the first two weeks of each school year.
