Lambert Architecture + Construction Services awarded a Historic Columbia Foundation Preservation Award for the 522 Lady Street project

Lambert Architecture + Construction Services announced their most recent award received by the Historic Columbia Foundation on May 4th. The firm is honored to accept this award and to be recognized by their peers for their hard work and dedication to their clients.
Each year Historic Columbia hosts its Preservation Awards Luncheon to celebrate the accomplishments of local property owners, professionals in architecture, construction, and design. These awards celebrate the projects that have sustained or contributed to the historical and architectural culture of Columbia and Richland County.
This year, Lambert Architecture + Construction Services was recognized under the category of Preservation/ Restoration for their project at 522 Lady Street. As a result of this project, the former Columbia Cigar and Candy Store and Warehouse that was constructed in 1929 went from being an abandoned building to a now 29,000 square foot office space that combines new materials with original features of this historic structure. The result is a successful combination of an innovatively reimagined space within a preserved historic structure.
