Laura Derrick is 2016 South Carolina REALTORS® treasurer

COLUMBIA, SC – Laura Derrick, Realtor® at Coldwell Banker United in Columbia, is South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) 2016 treasurer. Derrick was inaugurated in a ceremony at the association’s September 2015 annual meeting. Her term is currently underway.
In her role as SCR treasurer, Derrick is responsible for the general supervision of the financial affairs of the association. She also serves as the chair of the Finance Committee as well as on the association’s Leadership Team, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Planning Committee and Legislative Group. During her tenure she is required to attend multiple state and national meetings.
Laura Derrick has been a Columbia Realtor® for thirty years. Throughout that time she has held many state and local Realtor® association leadership roles including secretary of SCR in 2015 and SCR Region 5 Vice President (representing Columbia, Aiken and Southern Midlands) in 2013 and 2014.
In 2011 she served as the Central Carolinas REALTOR® Association (CCRA) president. CCRA also presented her with its REALTOR® of the Year award in 2011.
She has won multiple sales awards including Top Sales, Top Listing Agent and Top Producer, and was recently awarded the International President’s Circle for Coldwell Banker. She holds multiple designations including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate of the Realtors® Institute (GRI).
Derrick is active in her community and serves on the Midlands Red Cross Board of Directors. She is a past volunteer and member of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes.
