Laurens County Community Theatre Announces Auditions for Smoke on the Mountain

The Laurens County Community Theatre is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming production of Smoke on the Mountain. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30 PM at Clinton High School.

Available Roles

The production is seeking to cast the following roles:

• 2 men (ages 30-60)
• 1 man (ages 21-40)
• 1 teenage boy (ages 15-21)
• 1 teenage girl (ages 15-21)
• 1 young woman (ages 18-30)

The role of Vera will be played by Ruth McDaniel, who will also serve as the show’s Music Director.

Audition Requirements

Those auditioning should prepare an old-time gospel hymn or a country song. A pianist will be provided to accompany performances. Additionally, auditioners should be prepared to read from the script.

Show Dates

The production will take the stage during the first and second weekends of June.
