Laurens County Development Corporation Strategic Planning Process Continues

You’ve heard the phrase it takes a village, right?
Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC) knows that the real potential for getting things done and making a difference lies in the people who make up our community. In 2019 they began the county-wide strategic planning process but that was put on hold for a period of time due to limitations arising from COVID-19.
This past March, the LCDC began the implementation and rollout phase of the plan for increasing smart economic growth and prosperity for our County over the next five years.
Seven teams have been established to assist in carrying out this vision, and we are so grateful to everyone in these groups serving to #GrowLaurensCounty!
“The teams are active and fully engaged,” said Jonathan Coleman, President/CEO Laurens County Development Corporation. “The groups have been busy brainstorming, collaborating, planning, and networking as we kicked off our 2nd round of strategic plan implementation team meetings.
