Laurens County GOP to Host Conversation with SC Treasurer Curtis Loftis and Honor First Responders

The Laurens County Republican Party will welcome South Carolina State Treasurer Curtis Loftis for a special community event on Thursday, September 11, 2025. The program, titled “A Conversation with SC Treasurer Curtis Loftis: Honoring Our First Responders,” will be held at The Ridge, located at 301 Exchange Road in Laurens, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The evening will feature remarks from Treasurer Loftis and the Laurens County Republican Party will pay tribute to the dedication and service of first responders in Laurens County. The event is open to the public with a $10 admission fee, which includes a hotdog supper. In recognition of their service, all first responders are invited to attend free of charge. Valerie Jones, Chair of the Laurens County Republican Party, emphasized the significance of the evening: “This event is an opportunity to both hear from Treasurer Loftis on the important financial matters impacting our state and to show appreciation to the men and women who serve our community every day as first responders. We encourage citizens to join us in honoring their service while also engaging in meaningful conversation about South Carolina’s future.”
