Laurens County Humane Society Overwhelmed With Puppies—Community Help Needed
July 28, 2025The Laurens County Humane Society has recently experienced a heartwarming puppy explosion—but with 20 hungry puppies and two adult dogs now in their care, the organization is in urgent need of support from the community.
“If you’ve been seeing a flood of puppy photos on our page lately, you’re not imagining it,” the Humane Society posted this week. “We really do have 20 puppies—and they’re hungry!”
The shelter is going through puppy food faster than ever and is calling on the generosity of the community to help restock. They are specifically requesting donations of PurinaONE Healthy Puppy food, in any bag size. Donations can be dropped off directly at the shelter, or ordered online through their Amazon Wish List for convenience.
And of course, the most impactful way to help is to adopt. With so many furry faces waiting for their forever homes, now is the perfect time to visit the shelter and meet your new best friend.
