Laurens County Public Libraries to Close for Juneteenth Holiday

The Laurens County Public Library System has announced that the Laurens and Clinton locations will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth, the federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, June 20. Patrons are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly and take advantage of the library’s online resources, which remain accessible at www.lcpl.org.
