Laurens County Touchdown Club Announces 2025 All-County Team, Award Nominees, and Year-End Banquet Details

December 16, 2025

The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Touchdown Club has announced the 2025 Laurens County Touchdown Club All-County Football Team, along with nominees for Player of the Year and recipients of the FCA Character Award. These outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and community members will be recognized during the Touchdown Club Year-End Banquet on Wednesday, January 7, at 6:00 p.m. at The Ridge in Laurens.

The annual banquet serves as a celebration of excellence in Laurens County football, honoring athletic achievement, leadership, character, and dedication both on and off the field. In addition to recognizing the All-County Team, the Touchdown Club will also name its 2025 Coach of the Year during the event.

Former South Carolina State University Head Football Coach Oliver Wendell “Buddy” Pough III will serve as the guest speaker. Pough led the South Carolina State Bulldogs from 2002 until his retirement in 2023, guiding the program to eight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) championships. He is a member of both the MEAC Hall of Fame and the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Lee’s BBQ will cater the evening meal.

Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased in advance at the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce office or at the door the night of the event.
