Laurens Electric Cooperative Holds Annual Meeting of Members June 4-5

Laurens Electric Cooperative, Inc. will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting of Members on Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, at the cooperative’s campus.
Voting will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 4 and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 5.
Members attending for the first time will enter the campus from Highway 14 on the Laurens side of the building, near the solar panels, and proceed through the gate and under the truck shed. Members will hand in their registration card and cast their vote before exiting on the Gray Court side of the building.
The first 3,000 members to register will receive a $25 bill credit, an entry to win a retired fleet vehicle, and a high definition wireless Bluetooth speaker that is water-resistant and pairs from up to 32 feet away.
South Carolina Highway Patrol officers will assist with traffic direction on the roadway, and cooperative employees will be on hand to guide members through the campus.
