Laurens Libraries End November With Exciting Events

The Laurens County Public Libraries offer events for the whole family the last week of November.

The Laurens Main Library hosts a Lego® free build for children 6-10 on Monday, November 27th, at 4pm. In this laid-back program participants can build Lego® creations to their hearts content!

The Clinton Book Talk meets on the 28th at the Clinton Library to discuss this month’s featured book, The Wonder by Emma Donoghue. Book Talk is at 10:30am. Adults only, please.

At the Laurens Library on the 28th, genealogy specialist Kathryn Weathers will teach participants how to trace their lineage. Win a free Family Finder test from FamilyTree DNA! This program is at 5pm.

National Novel Writing Month wraps up on the 30th with a NANOWRIMO drop-in at the Clinton Library. Come by and tell us what progress you’ve made on that novel. Light refreshments are provided.

Stay and Play wraps up the month at the Laurens Library on the 30th at 4 pm. This program is designed for ages 11-17.

Get ready for wonder filled events in December, including a visit by a jolly old special guest!
