Laurens Station Apartments Puts “Gratitude in Action” Into Practice With Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway
December 1, 2025As Thanksgiving preparations were being made across Laurens County, the owners of Laurens Station Apartmentsturned gratitude into meaningful action, surprising residents with a generous tenant-appreciation effort that provided complete holiday meals to local families.
What began as a simple idea quickly grew into something much larger. One of the owners proposed raffling off three full Thanksgiving dinners for qualifying tenants. When the idea was shared with other partners, the response was immediate—and overwhelmingly generous.
“I mentioned doing a little tenant-appreciation giveaway, and my partners jumped in without hesitation,” said co-owner Britton Wolf. “One said she’d cover two more dinners, and another texted me, ‘Put me down for three dinners!’ Because of their generosity, we ended up giving away ten full Thanksgiving dinners this year. Each meal was enough to feed up to ten people—meaning up to ten families were able to enjoy a real Thanksgiving meal together.”
Wolf said the impact was felt immediately. “My staff told me we had two residents in tears when we delivered the dinners. I love seeing the impact of simple acts of generosity.”
A Thanksgiving Surprise for Residents
Earlier this month, the team at Laurens Station Apartments shared the raffle details with tenants. To qualify, residents needed to meet two criteria:
-
Have rented at Laurens Station for at least 60 days
-
Hold a zero rental balance as of November 14, 2025
Those who met the qualifications were automatically entered into the drawing, held on November 20, 2025.
The winners received traditional Thanksgiving dinners, complete with turkey, dressing, cranberry sides, and other holiday staples. Each meal was enough to feed up to ten people, allowing families to enjoy a full holiday gathering without added financial strain.
Gratitude That Makes a Difference
This effort follows the Buzz’s Thanksgiving theme of turning gratitude into action. For the Laurens Station Apartment owners, this raffle was more than a giveaway—it was a meaningful way to thank their tenants and acknowledge the families who make the community feel like home.
