Laurens YMCA to Host 25th Annual Reindeer Run to Support Youth Programs; Sponsorships Available

The Laurens YMCA is set to host the 25th Annual Reindeer Run 5K, a holiday tradition that brings the community together for fitness, fun, and a great cause. This milestone event, taking place in December, supports the YMCA’s Youth Scholarship Program, which provides essential financial assistance to children in Laurens County. Every dollar raised ensures that local youth have access to vital YMCA programs that foster growth, build character, and offer opportunities they might not otherwise have.

The Youth Scholarship Program helps ensure that no child is turned away from the chance to participate in youth sports, camps, swim lessons, and after-school care—programs that empower kids to stay active, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong friendships. By participating in or sponsoring the Reindeer Run, you’re making a lasting impact on the lives of children who need it most.

Event Highlights:

• Early Bird Registration: Sign up by November 24th for just $30 and guarantee your race shirt. After November 24th, registration increases to $35.
• Fun Run for Kids: Kids ages 1-12 can join the Fun Run for just $5! (T-shirts must be purchased separately before November 24th).
• Team Discounts: Teams of 10 or more receive 15% off registration.

Race Day Awards:

• First Place Overall Male and Female: $100 prize.
• Second Place Overall Male and Female: $50 prize.
• Age Division Winners: Special awards for top performers in each division.

Sponsorship Levels:

• Level 1 – $35 (Individual/Family Sponsor): 24″x18″ in-ground yard sign and one t-shirt.
• Level 2 – $100-$395 (Business/Organization): 24″x18″ in-ground yard sign and name on the t-shirt.
• Level 3 – $400-$595: Small logo on the t-shirt and 24″x18″ in-ground yard sign.
• Level 4 – $600+: Large logo on the t-shirt and 24″x18″ in-ground yard sign.
