July 19, 2016

LCK has been selected to manage the design and construction of the new Leadership Center for the Girl Scouts of South Carolina – Mountains to Midlands. The newly renovated facility is located at the corner of Williams and Senate Streets in the Vista Entertainment & Arts District, will be 32,000 square feet of meeting rooms, innovative program learning labs, staff offices and overnight sleeping quarters for as many as 120 girls. Wes Slice of LCK will serve as the project manager for the assignment.

The Leadership Center is the latest major project that LCK is overseeing in the Vista district. Most recently, LCK was the project manager for the University of South Carolina Alumni Center, which was unveiled in the fall of 2015.

“We are honored to be a part of a project like the Leadership Center,” said Mickey Layden, President of LCK. “Girl Scouts of South Carolina – Mountains to Midlands have long wanted a place for girls to gather from across the state to learn, grow and explore, and we look forward to playing a significant part in helping them realize that vision.”
