LCSD56 Director of Child Nutrition Cindy Jacobs Honored for Outstanding Service at Boys/Girls State Banquet

At the September 10, 2024, monthly meeting of the Copeland-Davidson Clinton Post 56, Laurens County School District 56 employee Cindy Jacobs was honored for her outstanding contributions to the recent Boys/Girls State Banquet. Jacobs, who serves as Director of Child Nutrition and 56 Conference Center Scheduler, played a vital role in ensuring the banquet’s success through her dedication and service, which went above and beyond expectations.
In recognition of her efforts, Jacobs was awarded Letters of Appreciation from both Post 56 and Auxiliary Unit 56. The commendations highlighted her “above the call of duty” participation in organizing the banquet, which celebrated the achievements of the Boys/Girls State participants.
Commander Rossi Hanna of Post 56 and Auxiliary President Jane Hanna presented the awards to Jacobs, expressing their gratitude for her hard work and commitment. The banquet was noted as one of the most successful in recent years, in large part due to Jacobs’ diligent efforts.
Post 56 and Auxiliary Unit 56 remain committed to supporting local youth through events like Boys/Girls State and deeply appreciate the community partners like Jacobs who help make these events memorable.
