LCSO K9 Abel to be Featured on WSPA for First Responder Friday

Friday is First Responder Friday.

Fred Cunningham with WSPA recently came to Laurens County to meet K9 Abel and his handler and learn about the important work they do. K9 Abel is a firearm detection dog and he plays an important role in our schools for early detection of firearms.

“Abel is a welcome addition to our team,” said Sheriff Don Reynolds. “I am proud to have him and hope that he serves as a deterrent. It’s extremely important to keep our children safe.”
