LEAD 2024 thanks sponsors for their support of law enforcement and another successful event

December 18, 2024

LEAD (Law Enforcement Appreciation Day) Upstate celebrates the overwhelming success of its 10th annual event, held on September 20th at the Greenville Downtown Airport, where approximately 620 law enforcement officers were honored for their service. The event was made possible by the generosity of sponsors and donors who stepped up to express gratitude for the men and women who protect and serve Greenville County.

At this year’s event, officers were greeted with a line of gratitude, where they received:

• A Chick-Fil-A biscuit and coffee,
• Pepsi products,
• A commemorative t-shirt,
• A snack bag,
• A valor bag filled with carefully selected items, and
• A challenge coin honoring their service

During the week officers also had the chance to win prizes included a wide variety of items such as a set of tires, long rifles, pistols, grills, televisions, family outing packages, restaurant and hotel packages, and more. These donations highlighted the community’s appreciation for law enforcement’s sacrifices and dedication.

“This event is a testament to the power of community and the shared respect we all have for law enforcement officers,” said Seabrook Marchant, Founder of LEAD and President, CEO and Broker in Charge of Marchant Real Estate. “The generosity of our sponsors and partners ensures we can provide this meaningful opportunity to honor their commitment.”
