Leadership Discovery announces Fall 2018 graduates
December 14, 2018Leadership Discovery, a leadership development program by the Charleston Metro Chamber, has announced the Fall 2018 graduates. The program is an innovative, skills-based experience that allows members the opportunity to learn from experienced executives in the Charleston region.
“I am incredibly grateful for the Leadership Discovery experience. We were connected with many wonderful leaders from a variety of industries, who were kind enough to share their leadership styles and experiences. They answered our questions honestly, and they openly discussed how they handle both successes and mishaps,” said Ashley Heffernan, Director of Communications and Operations, Tri-County Cradle to Career. “I am now more confident in how to handle difficult situations, and I have more meaningful connections around the region. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to learn and grow in their career.”

Participants in Leadership Discovery received personalized DISC assessments by Jean Meeks-Koch, Ph.D., CEO and Founder of Positively People. During monthly sessions, they networked, attended a business etiquette dinner and honed their personal and professional skills. Additionally, five top leaders in our region shared their personal leadership stories, offered unique perspectives and answered questions.
