Jim Stritzinger, Director, South Carolina Broadband Office (SCBBO)

In the past couple of years, South Carolina has moved from number 31 in the nation in terms of broadband in the country to number 6. South Carolina is also ranked number 1 in the Southeast.

As part of the South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff, Jim Stritzinger serves as the Director of the South Carolina Broadband Office (SCBBO), which was formed on July 1, 2021. The mission of the SCBBO is to serve as the central broadband planning body to coordinate with federal, state, regional, local, and private entities, to the extent practicable, to engage in the continued deployment of broadband in the state.
