Lee & Associates Charleston’s Emily Mills wins big at RECon 2018

Thousands of commercial real estate professionals attended the 2018 RECon Conference hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Las Vegas but only one attendee left a winner of a brand new Tesla and $50,000 cash. CoStar Group awarded Lee & Associates Charleston’s retail associate Emily Mills with the annual grand prize on Tuesday evening, May 22, 2018, the last night of the four-day Global Retail Real Estate Convention.
Emily, as well as four other members of the Lee & Associates Charleston retail team, John Orr, CCIM, Elyse Welch, CCIM, Will Sherrod, CCIM, and Lindsey Halter, gathered alongside 31,000 industry professionals at the Las Vegas Convention Center for several days of deal making, professional development workshops, networking, keynote presentations, and much more. Attendee’s feelings of caution turned optimistic after learning how to meet the changing needs and expectations of tenants in midst of an uncertain retail outlook.
