Legal Staff Professionals of Greenville Boasts Four State Board Members
May 18, 2011GREENVILLE, SC – May 18, 2011 – Members of Legal Staff Professionals of Greenville attended the Annual meeting of Legal Staff Professionals of South Carolina in Hilton Head Island on April 30 – May 1, 2011. The Greenville chapter saw four of its members installed on the state board. Tara Prevatte, PP, PLS, of Greene Law Firm, is the new state President. David Greene, Esquire, presided at the installation. Lois Belle, PLS, was installed as Functional Director of Membership; Fran C. Powell, PP, PLS, will serve as Functional Director of Marketing; and Camilla G. Pitman, CMC, PLS, will fill the office of Functional Director of Certification.
Ms. Pitman was also honored as this year’s Award of Excellence winner on the state level. The Award of Excellence recognizes a member who possesses leadership, professionalism, integrity, and other qualities which inspire members of the Association. It is the highest award given by LSPSC.
Outgoing LSPSC President Jamie Early, PP, PLS, recognized local chapters for community service. The Greenville chapter is strong in its community service involvement. A few of the organizations benefiting from the efforts of LSPG members include Shepherd’s Gate, Triune Mercy Center, United Way, Greer Community Ministries, YMCA, Travelers Rest Lions Club, and March of Dimes.
