Legal Staff Professionals of Greenville Installs 2011-2012 Officers

GREENVILLE, SC – Paril 25, 2011 – Luanne Runge, shareholder with Gallivan White & Boyd PA, officiated at the installation ceremony for the 2011-2012 board members of Legal Staff Professionals of Greenville (LSPG) on April 13, 2011, at the Poinsett Club in Greenville.
The newly elected officers are President – Mary Beth Morgan, Gallivan White & Boyd, PA; President-Elect – Patti Bacon, Court Reporter; Vice President – Kathy Suggs, The Clardy Law Firm; Secretary – A. Yvonne Fortner, PP, PLS, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice; Treasurer – Myra Culbertson, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice; and Parliamentarian/Immediate Past President – Tara Prevatte, PP, PLS, Greene Law Firm.

Incoming President Mary Beth Morgan recognized the solid foundation LSPG has built over the years and challenged its members with several initiatives by asking them to share their talents in mentoring young professionals in the legal community, assisting the local bar associations with their events, and partnering with the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).
Immediate Past President Tara Prevatte was honored with the Award of Excellence for her efforts on behalf of LSPG while also serving as an officer of the state association. Ms. Prevatte will be installed as President of Legal Staff Professionals of South Carolina (LSPSC) at its Annual Meeting in Hilton Head Island on May 1. LSPG is very proud to have several members serving on the LSPSC board for the coming year, including Lois Belle, PLS, who will serve as Functional Director of Membership; Fran C. Powell, PP, PLS, serving as Functional Director of Marketing; and Camilla G. Pitman, CMC, PLS, as Functional Director of Certification.
