Lennar Donates $5,000 to Winwood Family Services to Provide Care and Therapy to Families and Children

CHARLESTON, SC – July 31, 2012 – For the third consecutive year, Lennar Homes has made a $5,000 donation to Windwood Family Services (WFS), a Charleston-area program that provides therapy to children and families.
Windwood Family Services offers residential and outpatient therapeutic programs to children and their families throughout the Lowcountry. With twenty seven years of experience in behavioral, trauma and family services, WFS’s goal is to establish healthier roots and strengthen families in the community. WFS provides outpatient treatment at their Mt. Pleasant location, which focuses on individual and family treatment plans. Additionally, their residential program, located in Awendaw, is home to 26 boys, ages 6 to 16, who have behavioral issues as a result of abuse, neglect, or trauma.

Windwood Family Services seeks to do the same by giving children the skills build a better life.
