Leo’s Pizza opens at The Commons
March 20, 2025Leo’s Pizza, a highly anticipated addition to Greenville’s dining scene, is opening its doors in Phase II of The Commons food hall on Wednesday, March 19. As part of the transformation of the popular restaurant GB&D, Leo’s Pizza will offer a unique pizza experience, led by Chef Michael “Rossco” Ross.
Ross has crafted a menu that blends classic and innovative flavors, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and a dedication to impeccable craftsmanship. The concept was born out of GB&D’s highly popular pizzas offered on Friday and Saturday nights.
Known for its artisan-style pizzas and commitment to high-quality ingredients, Leo’s Pizza will bring a fresh and exciting culinary experience to the vibrant mixed-use destination.
“I’m passionate about creating pizzas that are both authentic and playful,” said Ross. “At Leo’s, we’re not just about the food; we’re about creating an experience that brings people together. I’m excited to share our vision with the Greenville community.”
The Commons, located in Unity Park, has become a central part of Greenville’s culinary scene, fostering community and connection through its diverse array of local vendors.
“Aston is proud to support The Commons, which embodies the vibrant community spirit that makes Greenville so special,” noted Barnes Connell, Aston Managing Director. “We believe in the potential of this market and are excited to see The Commons continue to thrive with new additions like Leo’s Pizza.”
Leo’s Pizza will be open for limited service starting March 19. It will be joined by two other new concepts from GB&D in the coming weeks: the revamped GB&D, focusing on popular menu items like burgers and chicken sandwiches, and Delicious by GB&D, offering an elevated dining experience.
All three concepts will be located at The Commons, 147 Welborn St., Greenville. For more information on The Commons, visit https://commonsgvl.com.
