At its March 25 board meeting, the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Keith Britton as an Assistant Principal at River Bluff High School, effective for the 2025–2026 school year.

Mr. Britton brings 13 years of experience in education, including four years as an assistant principal at Fountain-Fort Carson High School in Colorado. He is known for his dedication to creating equitable learning environments where all students are empowered to succeed. His leadership has focused on strengthening professional learning communities, mentoring educators, and supporting instructional effectiveness through professional development.

He began his career as a physical education teacher and coach before moving into school administration.
