WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Rebecca B. McNair, MD, to its network of care. She will practice at Sandhills Family Medicine, a Lexington Medical Center physician practice conveniently located in the hospital’s community medical center in downtown Lexington.
Dr. McNair most recently practiced as a family physician for Clarendon Health Systems. In addition to patient care, she collaborated on the development of policies for outpatient clinics and served as an attending instructor for medical and physician assistant students from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
A summa cum laude graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., Dr. McNair graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. She then completed her family medicine internship and residency.
A member of the American Medical Association and Columbia Medical Society, Dr. McNair is board certified and an American Academy of Family Physicians Fellow. She also has additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic cardiac life support, neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support, and is a certified medical examiner.
Dr. McNair joins the board-certified physicians at Sandhills Family Medicine to provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. The practice has served the Lexington community for more than 30 years.
